Book Notes
One of my favorite books right now is "Freakonomics" -- it's a brilliant spin on otherwise mundane topics. The KKK chapter alone is worth the price of the book. You don't have to be an economics nerd to enjoy it. Perfect at the gym or at bedtime...and there's even more AMAZING news! "Freakonomics" is featured on a blog! Another great read:
"Early Bird: A Memoir of Early Retirement" by Rodney Rothenberg. It's a hoot! He's a 28-year-old burnt out comedy writer who heads to South Florida to see what retirement is like. Priceless. Well, actually, it's about 16 bucks or so.

These guys were on Today this morning, being interviewed by the smarter one (Lauer). Very interesting, because the math guy seemed like he especially needed to work with the other guy just to translate himself. I have a late friend who was a math major (and a super-huge freakoid comics fan, natch) who probably needed that.
Meanwhile, I will now put this book on my Amazon wish list.
