These are the 9 senators who voted AGAINST John McCain's bill to ensure humane treatment of prisoners held by the American military.

If you don't see your Senator's name on this list, send them a note of thanks because they were among the 90 (one was absent) who voted YES despite being threatened by the White House. It was a lose-lose deal established by Dick Cheney: he told the Senate if they approved the bill, the White House would suspend military funding. So, basically, he was willing to make sure our prisoners AND our soldiers were abused.

Well, at least he's consistent.

It's important to thank those 90 Senators for doing the right thing....maybe they've finally had enough of taking orders from assholes who are only posing as Republicans.
