The Dark Side of Judith Miller
Wondering why the press hasn't shown more righteous indignation about having a colleague jailed for not revealing her sources? Perhaps it's because Judith Miller is not behind bars for the reasons we might have thought. To the consternation of several of my blog readers, I have been holding out for Ms. Miller because I didn't want to mix apples (her complicity in sending us to war) and oranges (her refusal to reveal her sources). I thought her punishment should be associated with the crime.
It might after all.
You need to read Ariana Huffington's analysis of Plamegate filled with plenty of links to fill out the "rest of the story." Makes a fuck of a lot of sense.

Gee, golly, the MSM is saying now what I said about a month ago. She's a shill and a lap-dog with no ethics. There is no "real" journalism in this country. Just paid hacks writing about issues of no particular importance to understanding our world, our culture, our history, and, most importantly, our times. The WA Post & NYT are a wasteland, and the MSM in radio and TV is a vacum.
