Trudeau Was Right, Bush is an Asterisk

CNN's Jack Cafferty (my current personal media hero) just gave President Bush hell for doing a whole lot of nothing about the folks starving at both the New Orleans Convention Center and SuperDome: "Where the hell is the water for these people? Why aren't sandwiches being dropped to them?" He said in a CNN poll, not ONE respondent to the survey question thought the federal government was doing enough to help New Orleans. Apparently, we can bring democracy to Iraq, but we can't get a bag of chips into the Big Easy.

W made a deer in the headlights look like frigging Ph.D. in his announcement from the oval office this afternoon, flanked by his father and Bill Clinton. He looked very small and very lost and the New Hampshire Union Leader agrees. Read this coverage of their lambasting of W.
